The Un-Route

This journey includes crossing 18,000 km, 21 countries, 9 time zones,  8 mountain ranges, and 3 deserts, all in one small 1000cc car.

The rally is designed to feed the desire for adventure. At the core of it, is the belief that adventure lies where the maps finish, in the unknown, where the plans fail, the roads end, and the cars break down. In the words of the rally founders, The Adventurists "Knowing where you’re going is boring. The Mongol Rally follows our ‘unroute’ ethos; you go where you please. Adventure doesn’t happen following a nob with a flag, It happens when you’re lost."
